Today, we’d like to introduce you to Amber Barrett. Amber was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Kayla Lassetter.
Amber, can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Since I was young I loved organizing. I would spend hours playing with my Barbies and setting up their clothes and shoes in colored-coded order. I was never interested in getting my Barbies to talk or interact with one another… I just wanted to set up their stuff and make it look pretty.
Years later after college, I started working at a local university and while I enjoyed my work, I was tired of the 9-5 life and craved a job that would allow me the ability to be more creative. Starting my own business was never on my radar, but I asked friends and family what they thought I was good at and every single person said, ‘organizing!
In 2018, I started my own Professional Organizing business. I was able to quit my full-time job just 4 months after starting my business and received the wonderful opportunity to work with incredible clients.
Because of how busy I became I started looking for solutions to help me better manage new and existing clients (things like scheduling, sending contracts and proposals, requesting testimonials., etc.) and I came across Dubsado. My world completely changed once I found this incredible tool and once I learned how to use it I quickly started sharing about it with other business owners.
Fast forward to 2020 and I transitioned my business to help other professional organizers get their own businesses organized, streamlined, and automated with the use of Dubsado. I know setup CRMs for Pro. Organizers full time which allows me to still organize (just digitally) and still work with the industry that I love dearly.
Please tell us more about your brand, Arranged By Amber
I help Professional Organizers streamline & automate their businesses with CRMs. Together we analyze their current processes and tools and strategize ways to simplify their businesses without making more manual work for them. One thing that sets me apart is that I have hands-on experience in the professional organizing industry. I know the ins and outs, and the client challenges, and it enables me to really step into my client’s shoes and offer up the best solutions to fit their needs. I’m most proud of my client experience. I work really hard to ensure my clients feel heard and valued. I always want them to feel like they are in good hands when they work with me and I think I have done a good job ensuring that.

I started searching for a social media manager towards the end of 2021. I knew that a social media presence was important but I really didn’t enjoy creating content and was ready to outsource. I took a while searching the word ‘social media manager’ on Instagram and looked through a lot of accounts. When I landed on Kayla’s page it didn’t take me long to know that she was the one for me.
