Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber Lewis.
Amber, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was brought to Houston by way of Hurricane Katrina. My love for athletics is what led me to my career in Massage Therapy. I’ve had the privilege of working with high school athletes, Olympic athletes and also professional athletes. I was able to get to where I am today by the grace of God, having Faith, Patience and Persistence. With this formula you are destined to elevate.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
This journey hasn’t been smooth but it has taught me that if I stay the course the outcome will be great, I just need to trust the process!
Bliss Massage Therapy – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Bliss is a Mobile Massage Therapy Company. I provide massage services throughout the Houston area. I specialize in athletic recovery, injury prevention and post injury rehabilitation. Having an athletic background sets me apart because I am able to relate to my clients on a personal level. I know why they hurt, where they hurt and how to rejuvenate their bodies because I’ve experienced the athletic training sessions for myself. I am most proud of being able to help athletes reach their full potential and also increase the longevity of their athletic careers.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success by how much you grow and your willingness to share the wisdom you gain in the process.
