Meet Andreina Castillo of Houston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andreina Castillo

Hi Andreina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Andreina Castillo, I am a Venezuelan lawyer and international chef who emigrated from the country in 2015 fleeing the dictatorship. I arrived in Panama where I lived for three years, alone without family, working and taking care of myself but with the faith that God was with me at all times. This was a season full of many experiences that helped me form my character and mature my concept of life. Later I emigrated to the USA where I have had the greatest challenges and greatest triumphs, I learned English and began studies about natural medicine at the Nature and Sunshine Institute. Now I am known as Andreina Nature on social media with a community of more than 600K followers. This project was born with a huge desire to help people with my knowledge of cooking and natural medicine, which is based on creating natural treatments at home for personal care, especially hair. I do all this in gratitude to God who has brought me to where I am with the purpose of helping others. The purpose of Andreina Nature is to help people learn about natural and economic ways to solve hair loss problems, stimulate growth, beautify the horse, and deal with general body health issues.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I generally think that my life has been very challenging from the beginning. When I finished high school I lived in Quibor, a town in the Lara State in Venezuela that was far from the city and the university where I would study Law was two hours away, so I was taking the bus two hours there and two hours back for five years until I graduated. The most difficult year was the last one because the protests against the dictatorship had already begun and I had to walk a mile to get past the burning tires in the middle of the road to get to the other side. Once I had my law degree I had to leave the country because in order to practice my career I had to belong to the dictator’s party and my honor did not allow me to do so. So I went to Panama where I encountered other tests. I started with a job where I earned $18 a day and I faced many inconveniences for being a foreigner. Unfortunately, there were laws that did not allow certain immigrants to acquire residency and certain benefits such as credits, so growth opportunities were very scarce. For this reason, I decided to emigrate to the United States. The truth is that this country welcomed me with open arms because I had the opportunity to have all my legal documents but with new challenges such as learning a new language and integrating into a culture totally different from mine. Regarding my social media venture, the truth is that it has not been easy since I am an employee and I work ten hours a day, and in order to create content, record and edit videos I have had to do it at night or on my day off. However, now that I have achieved it and continue to work hard on my projects, I am grateful for each of these battles because they have been the path that God has used to form my character and it motivates me to go for more.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a content creator in the area of personal care, beauty and hair care using 100% natural elements. I share my knowledge on social media (instagram, tiktok and youtube) in order to provide an economic alternative to people, especially women, so that they can take care of themselves, pamper themselves and beautify themselves using the powerful tools that God the Father left us in creation. I have originally acquired all this knowledge from my previous lifestyle since I lived in Quibor, a small town in Venezuela that was far from the city and because of this and the poor economy of the country, the method we used to stay healthy and beautiful was with natural treatments that we made ourselves, using natural spices and elements such as rosemary, mint, cinnamon, flax seeds, etc. things that we can find in our backyard. However, I understood the great power that was in this and that people ignore. Years later, I decided to start my career as a naturist at the Nature and Sunshine Institute to acquire better knowledge and the good impact that this produces on the human body. Now that I am a content creator, I can definitely say that I am living a great passion. Technological advances have definitely brought new entrepreneurial opportunities that are based on leaving a mark with purpose and a benefit in society. I recently wrote my first book, “7 Homemade Recipes to Stop Hair Loss.” I am very proud of the amazing testimonies of followers who have been able to stop hair loss, restore it, improve it, and beautify it, among other general results. I am sure that it is God’s favor acting in the midst of this, because without Him none of this would have been possible.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I have many plans, dreams and expectations that I am turning into completely executable projects focused on love and pursuing the benefit of society. However, I am working on this one day at a time and I trust that God in his time will make everything grow and expand correctly and steadily.
