Hi Angelica, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I would love to and thank you for the opportunity to tell my story.
At the age of 33, my husband and I decided to get pregnant with our last baby and made plans for me to be a homemaker and give the kids and our home my full time and attention. Once I gave birth to my baby girl, being at home felt right. I loved spending time taking care of my family and fully enjoyed raising my daughter at home. Our plan was for me not to go back to corporate America. During the planning of my daughter’s first birthday, I discovered my talent and love for decor. This led me to want to celebrate every birthday, not just for my family but also my extended family and friends. My dream became to be an event planner and eventually owning my own venue one day. I had my husband, family, and friends cheering me on to follow my heart and make my dream come true. During the planning of my 40th birthday, we discovered the beauty of Charcuterie. The Grazing table consumed the entire kitchen island. And with that, my love for Charcuterie was born… As a wine and cheese lover myself, Charcuterie was able to help showcase my attention to detail. With specific focus of decor to fit every Grazing table event and theme. It’s my passion customizing all my work.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
One of my biggest challenges was believing in myself. With lots of support, prayers, and God’s favor, I was able to overcome. Along the journey, I finally decided to launch my business. Since then, I have learned to listen to my peers and follow my heart; I have also learned that collaboration over competition is key and that women truly do admire each other and want to see each other win. I am blessed to have people around me that believe in me and push me to get better at my craft every day.

My love for decor and attention to detail brings together flavor and a visual experience that is sure to satisfy. I love working with my clients to bring their ideas from their imagination into reality it is rewarding and satisfying beyond words.
