Hi Antonio, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey into the makeup industry started long before I realized it would become my passion. My mom played a huge role in getting me started—she was my rock, encouraging me to go to makeup school and supporting me every step of the way. My oldest cousin, Bang, never stopped pushing me either, always reminding me of my potential even when I couldn’t see it myself. Back then, I wasn’t serious about it because I didn’t think highly of myself. But they believed in me, and now look at me—my career is thriving, and I’ve grown into someone they’d both be so proud of.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Life hasn’t been easy, and there were moments when I wanted to give up completely. Losing my mom was one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced—I felt like there was nothing left to live for. Then, not long after, my baby sister passed away, and the pain felt unbearable. But even in my darkest moments, I know my angels—my mom and sister—are watching over me. They give me strength to keep going and remind me that I’m never alone. Their love carries me through, and I’m determined to make them proud.
