Meet Arsh Kharbanda of TheFlexCoach [Podcast] in Highland Village

Today we’d like to introduce you to Arsh Kharbanda.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My entrepreneurial journey started when I was 13. Having moved to the United States, I didn’t have friends or a social life so my initial outlet was gaming. As I developed a passion for gaming, I discovered a way to monetize it via YouTube. I started making YouTube videos at 13 and created my very own profitable esports organization at 14. Unfortunately, being highly impressionable, I was misguided by several older individuals which eventually led to the channel getting banned. I always kept that experience in mind as it taught me an invaluable lesson of never letting my insecurities drive my decisions. I never let that moment defeat me, I continued pursuing several other ventures throughout high-school and now college.

From Dropshipping to my current venture which is a podcast, I have always pursued whatever it is that I desired regardless of outside forces deterring me. My current venture, TheFlexCoach, was a direct result of my desire to provide authentic value WITHOUT trying to sell it. The current climate consists of an abundance of “entrepreneurs” that are putting their “Values” behind a paywall in order to capitalize off of people insecurities. I have conversations with CEO’s and Entrepreneurs around Houston in hopes of providing value to my listeners. The brand itself represents authenticity and promotes the pursuit and attainment of one’s desires and goals.

Has it been a smooth road?
The road has been challenging in many ways. Finding a balance between school, work and the podcast has not been the easiest thing to do. I have had to make several sacrifices including giving up various forms of entertainment that kids my age prefer to partake in. My version of fun has become meeting new people and talking to them on my podcast. I have also struggled with connecting with people mainly due to my introverted nature, which can sometimes be misconstrued as arrogance. I can recall many instances where my shy and introverted nature may have been viewed as arrogance and therefore directly impacted alot of my relationships.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with TheFlexCoach [Podcast] – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
My current business is my podcast, TheFlexCoach. The podcast consists of conversations with CEO’s, Entrepreneurs & Influencers in order to provide value to listeners pursuing entrepreneurship and business. My podcast is known for its authenticity and value. I take pride in separating myself from the herd that likes to capitalize off of people’s insecurities by promising drastic results by selling a course or “guide”. My content is free and original. I am extremely proud of organic growth that I have seen. The podcast started late September and has already passed 1000 listeners in 19 different countries. It has peaked at #10 on the Itunes podcast charts in several countries as well. The goal of the podcast is to assist people in pursuing and following their goals.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
My favorite part about Houston has to be its diversity, I know everyone may say that but as an immigrant, I truly felt comfortable here upon arrival.
