Today we’d like to introduce you to Arsheen and Shareen Memon. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Arsheen and Shareen were born in Bombay India, very early on our parents decided they wanted a better education and a brighter path for their daughters and they migrated to the US when they were fairly young. Both Arsheen and Shareen have polar opposite personalities, Arsheen is your numbers girl. Everything has a reason, and the rationale for every decision has to have a method. Shareen is your free spirit, creative and out of the box.
In college, Arsheen studied finance and entrepreneurship, and Shareen studied Mechanical engineering. They both had short-lived corporate careers after graduation. The itch of doing something for themselves never let them ever feel continent in their corporate roles.
Arsheen went on to manage and build a wellness center and med spa in Katy, as well as a Family medicine practice in Southwest Houston, and Shareen, started her career RealEstate.
While I was working on growing my own businesses, my parents were putting together the idea of opening an IV Hydration Spa, however, in May 2020 we lost our dad and that is when everything changed. My sister and I decided that we would make our parent’s dream come true of opening an IV Hydration Spa. After months and months of research, we found LIVE Hydration (a growing franchise) out of Omaha Nebraska. After a cycle of meetings, visits, and phone calls we decided to bring this franchise to Houston. We have the rights and have started to sell LIVE Hydration Spa locations to local Houstonians who want to own their own business but need the infrastructure and support to get started. Alongside this, we are opening our first location & the Houston pilot store in Upper Kirby in August 2022!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey has been everything but a smooth road, being business partners with your sister is a true test of your relationship but we have managed to let each one of us play on our own strengths. Owning a business with the person you are closest to in their world is a true test of your love and relationship with another!
Although we have been inseparable for years, this has shed light on personality traits we did not know the other had. It is kind of interesting. 🙂
Let’s just say the entire build-out process was a challenge, from a shortage of supplies to have to redo all our floors 4 days before we opened. There have been nights we have literally slept in our store, but if you asked us to do it all over again we would in a heartbeat.
All the glorious Instagram memes about owning a business… well let’s just say there is little accuracy behind that.

How do you think about luck?
The combination of hard work and luck can be a deadly weapon and that is what we want for LIVE!
I would say there have been many instances where luck and has has not played out in our favor. I think more valuable than luck is perspective and how you perceive things around you. Looking at a glass as half full (as opposed to half empty) changes everything! A positive outlook is more important than luck can ever be.
