Thanks for sharing your story with us Belinda. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Royal Paws Labradoodles started the day I first laid eyes on one at a car wash, from that day forward I knew that I had to have one, they’re so smart, beautiful, fluffy, full of energy and just the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. I had to have one, so I did my research and I got on a waiting list for one year and it took another year for me to get him, I named him King. He was amazing and I just knew I wanted more Labradoodles. So with 3 yrs of research and a mentor’s help, I became apart of a Labradoodle association that have very high breeding standards to make sure I have a top quality breed.
For me to receive one so it was a two year…
Process then I receive my own when he came his name was King and he was everything that I have hope for in my labradoodle. Once I got home I fell in love with him and I started to think more people should have one there such a blessing, they don’t shed their easy to train and they’re cute so I had the idea of breeding them when I spoke to the mentor that I received came from she advised me that it was plenty of work but so much fun and I will love it because I reminded her of herself how excited I was about is venture so So with three years of knowledge I was ready and I started to breed Labre doodle’s
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It wasn’t easy, life happens! Things take time and don’t always happen according to plan. I’ve learned that life comes with challenges no matter if you love what you do or not (so love it)… But I wouldn’t stop for anything! I love them dearly and they keep me young and busy.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Royal Paws Labradoodles – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Royal Paws are a part of the ALAA, it’s a Labradoodle association. ALAA requires standard health testing for quality to ensure that the client receives a quality dog with no health problems. But of course like anything you do you can go a step higher, which we have done here at Royal Paws, we have moved up to the Gold and Silver paw program which is testing each dog more in depth than just the standards. It’s top notch!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Our future plans and big changes are having guardianship homes for each and every one of our breeding dogs. This allows each working dog to each be treated the same as a normal pet because at the end of the day that’s what they are. It helps them to have all the love, support and affection that they need.
