Ben, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started Sure Dividend back in 2014. Sure Dividend helps individual investors and finance professionals find the best high quality dividend growth stocks for the long run.
Sure Dividend has grown through the years. We now have a team of ~15 analysts who cover more than 800 income securities every quarter. We use this detailed analysis to find the best income securities for our 9,000+ premium members.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Growing a business from scratch is rarely a smooth road. We’ve had to adapt and grow over time to best serve our members, while maintaining strong reach to inform people about dividend growth investing. In the early years of Sure Dividend, a good portion of people found us through the site Seeking Alpha.
In more recent years, Seeking Alpha has changed significantly, and we no longer provide analysis there on a regular basis. Instead, we write for a number of other sites, and focus on creating quality content on suredividend.com, so people can find our work through Google search.
