Today we’d like to introduce you to Betzayda Lopez
Hi Betzayda, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey with photography began at Restoration Church, where I first felt the thrill of capturing meaningful moments behind the camera. It dawned on me that I wanted to share this joy with others. Admittedly, I initially worried about the challenges, but once I dove in headfirst, everything started to fall into place. I’ve seen God’s hand in my growth, bringing the right people into my life at the right times and blessing my business beyond measure. It is a privilege to merge my passion with ministry, funding the kingdom of God without succumbing to mundane employment. At just 19 years old, with a year and a half of professional experience in photography, this year has been immensely rewarding.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Entrepreneurship has proven both effortless and enjoyable. As the word of God says, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” I’ve experienced firsthand how aligning my life and business with God’s purpose ALWAYS brings overflowing blessings. “When you mean business with God, He means business with you!”
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a photographer who really enjoys the soft/cinematic style of photography. I love being able to tell a story without actually saying anything at all. All in all, I love bringing people’s vision to life! Whether that be portraits, lifestyle, graduations, engagements, or even WEDDINGS. I’m always open to work with a person to create what they’re desiring! I truly believe a core principle in my life and my business is to do everything in excellence, and I’d say that’s what will always set me apart from others.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
True success, in my view, transcends personal gain and individual aspirations. If success merely revolves around self-interest, it reflects a limited understanding of its essence. Genuine success lies in positively influencing others’ lives. Ultimately, one’s legacy is not defined by self-proclamations but by tangible actions and achievements. Therefore, aspiring to impact others profoundly with the gifts and talents entrusted to us should be the true measure of desired success, resonating through generations.
