Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Nunn.
Brandon, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was a high school basketball player struggling with receiving exposure. My family was experiencing financial hardships, so I wasn’t able to attend camps. Being exposed to college scouts and ranking companies were not happening. After tearing both of my groins during a basketball game in Dallas, Texas, I had a lot of time to think and learn new things. I was in a video editing class and began to take it seriously. When me and Tyreke decided to purchase cameras after working hard and saving our money, we strived to reach our vision.
Billionairevsns stands for something. Many people have a general dream of becoming a millionaire; our idea is to dream big. Shoot for the stars. Your purpose is influenced by things you love. Once you find your purpose, a vision follows. We plan to make the most out of the company and represent black males striving to be more than athletes.
Tyreke Sapp now runs track at Virginia Tech. Brandon Nunn is a student at the University of Houston. We have employees around Houston as well.
Has it been a smooth road?
When we started Billionairevsns, purchasing cameras was very hard. We had to work a lot to save money. After that, it became difficult to make our peers take us serious. It took persistence. Also, as beginners, we had a few times in which we made mistakes or did not thoroughly handle business. We improved quickly though. Now that we are three years into the business, our biggest problem is competitors. We have to focus on making ourselves different than other media/exposure companies.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Billionairevsns – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Billionairevsns is an exposure company for athletes. We do personal athletic training and sports videography. Training prepares and improves athletes. Our videography exposes them to the world and allows their improved skills to be noticed. We specialize in basketball training and are most known for our basketball mixtapes. I am proud of our constant improvement as a company. I believe our heart separates us from other company’s or freelancers. We genuinely care about our clients and want to make them happy when they see their videos. This is because of my personal experience as an athlete. I trained myself, and never had a highlight video of enough quality to be recognized.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the culture in Houston. It’s a big city, with diversity. I’m proud to say I’m from here. I do not like the traffic.
