Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Stewart.
Brandon, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My passion for cars started way before I was able to drive them. I spent my summers looking out of the window of my grandmother’s house watching the fancy cars pass up and down the street of Martin Luther King Blvd. By the time I got to high school I knew I wanted a car so at 15 I made cookies and sold them at school to save money in order to buy a car. It was kind of ingenious because the school sold cookies also but for 2 for a $1 and I sold mine for 3 for a $1 and they were fresh and warm too. A few friends from school also shared the same car passion and we would give each other ideas on how to make each other’s car better. We started a business together not to long after high school but later some of us personally and business wise grew apart. Later after a brief break in the industry even though I was nervous to reintroduce myself a new automotive business was started Next Level Automotive and the rest of the story is still being written to this day
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road wasn’t completely smooth there was more personal fear. There has been a lot of encouragement from people that don’t even realize how much I needed to hear their words of encouragement at some of the darkest times. My faith in GOD has definitely pulled me through a lot for sure in many situations because whenever you feel like you just can’t go on you get that little nudge that lets you know that you can and everything is going to be alright
Next Level Automotive – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Next Level Automotive specializes in putting the humanity back in the automotive world. So many people have been burnt by automotive shops and mechanics and I feel we go out our way to let people know that we have no problem going the extra mile to help them get a job done. We have given loaner cars to people that didn’t even have loaner car coverage on their insurance. Picked customers cars up from there house and delivered it back all free of charge. Even provided late night roadside assistance to people at no additional charge. I really think making people feel there their business and support is appreciated by us is what we are good at. More specifically we do paint and body work interior wheels and tires car restoration and even offer car shipping services as well.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I believe success is the ability to help and motivate somebody else to reach heights that they personally never even imagined. Or even helping total strangers and having no intention of posting or sharing the moment on social media. There are so many things I feel we do as a company for people and even community situations that don’t make the news and that’s the best part about it. Every situation doesn’t need a cheerleader or a camera and that’s the definition of success is my opinion.
