Meet Brian Crocker of That’s Clean Maids in Tomball

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Crocker.

Brian, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Our story begins with my management background and my wife’s tenacious cleaning tenancies. With 2 teenage boys at home and my hectic schedule working nights and weekends we found it quite difficult to find employment for my wife that met our families scheduling requirements. We knew with my management background and her love for cleaning we were bound to have a great little business. I took out $500 to invest. We got our website design going and purchased all the necessary supplies. Boom! We were open for business.

In the last 12 months, we have grown from a small little cleaning company with a handful of clients to a highly rated professional cleaning service servicing over 100 bookings on a monthly basis. We have expanded our coverage area to Cypress, Tomball, The Woodlands, Spring, Magnolia, and Northwest Houston.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The biggest obstacle was having to learn all the online marketing avenues. This took months of many long nights working around my full-time job reading and watching countless online videos. We are a 100% online cleaning company. Our clients book directly on our website, see the price and schedule their booking. Learning website design/development plus online marketing was not an easy process but definitely paid off and will continue to pay off in the future.

That’s Clean Maids – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We specialize in residential cleaning. We offer move in/move out service, deep cleans, regular recurring service or customization by the hour service.

I would say we are most proud of the level of service we provide and all the positive reviews resulting from that. Last year we won Living magazine’s “Best of Tomball” for cleaning services category. This year we are hoping to expand that honor into other surrounding areas.

Our software definitely sets us apart. We bring cleaning into the 21st century with customer focused software providing exceptional customer service and scheduling features. Clients can book, change or reschedule their booking without even making a phone call.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success, in my opinion, is when you can master your craft and provide the best level of service to your clients. Once you have accomplished that the financial rewards follow as a bi product.

My criteria would be having the business started working for you or are you still working for the business. In the beginning every business owner needs to work backbreaking hours to ensure success but the plan should always be to build the business in way that it works exhaustively for you.

  • Bi weekly service starts out as low as $128.82.
