Hi Briana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started this business when I was a bride-to-be. I had my heart set on finding a peacock chair for my wedding events, but I couldn’t find one anywhere. So naturally… I overnighted 20 chairs instead 🤭
And just like that, Sitting Pretty Rentals was born.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Yes, overall it’s been a pretty smooth road, and I truly feel blessed to have had such amazing clients supporting my business along the way. Of course, like any business, there have been slower seasons and moments that challenged me to grow and adapt, but every experience has been rewarding and worth it. Watching Sitting Pretty Rentals become part of so many special moments has made it all incredibly fulfilling.
We’ve been impressed with Sitting Pretty Rentals, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Sitting Pretty Rentals is a luxury event rental company based in Southeast Texas specializing in stylish statement pieces for weddings, showers, birthdays, corporate events, and more. We’re especially known for our signature peacock chairs, curated lounge setups, and elevated event styling that helps make celebrations feel unique and memorable.
The business actually started while I was planning my own wedding and couldn’t find the pieces I was looking for locally — so I went out and sourced them myself. What began as searching for my own vision quickly turned into Sitting Pretty Rentals. Since then, the brand has grown into a business built on creativity, quality, and exceptional client experiences.
I’m definitely a girls’ girl at heart, and one of my favorite parts of this business is helping women feel beautiful, confident, and celebrated during some of the most special moments of their lives. What sets us apart is the care we put into every detail and every client experience.
How do you think about luck?
I don’t necessarily believe success comes from luck — I believe it comes from faith, hard work, and God’s timing. I’ve been incredibly blessed with opportunities, amazing clients, and a strong support system throughout my journey. Of course, there have been challenges and setbacks too, but I truly believe those moments helped shape me into a stronger person and business owner. Every experience, good or bad, has taught me something valuable and pushed me to grow.
