Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Lewis.
Hi Brittany, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I was tired of working for other companies and doing things I really wasn’t passionate about. I was miserable and unhappy. I wanted the freedom to do what I want when I wanted. I wouldn’t have to worry about working around my kid’s school schedule and working shifts I didn’t want. I would be in control and make my own schedule if I worked for myself, and it was that simple, so I quit my job I was at for 6 years and started to bet on myself.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely hasn’t been a smooth ride. There’s many ups and downs. Highs and lows. One minute you have tons of sales, and the next minute, you’re not getting any. Having a business and being an entrepreneur is not for the weak. You have to be everything all wrapped in one. Marketing, photographer, editor, etc. It’s hard, but it’s rewarding at the same time!
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Nora Bee Lashes is a lash business that caters to all the girlies that love luxury things, minus the luxury price! We have lashes, tweezers, glue, and mini mirrors. I’m proud of my branding. My logo, my lash boxes, I create all that from scratch. I sketched it out and brought it to life! I will be launching my lip gloss this year as well, and I’m super excited about that! So, we will be more than just lashes but everything beauty as well.
