Meet Brittany Swift of BreeCaraAmore in Richmond

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Swift.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Most of the work that I have to do to bring me to wear am now- and I by no means a finished product- has been all mental/spiritual. God has blessed me to me naturally motivated and ambitious, I am avid goal-setter and admitted overachiever lol – all of which have served me well both in my career life as well as my passion – my YouTube channel. BreeCaraAmore has been around since 2010 and has videos that have garnered views in the millions, but it wasn’t until the summer or 2019 that I really started to take it searingly and decide to commit to it full time. Since then, I have seen exponential growth on my channel, amazing engagement and the opportunity to take part in some amazing collaborations. I make a point to be as vulnerable as possible with my audience, and many of them know that I still struggle with anxiety and depression. And though it is a constant battle, it’s nothing I can’t handle with my God on my side. He continues to bless me in amazing ways despite the emotional trials. I know it won’t last always, and I’m happy to be able to make my channel a safe space to talk freely and for others to feel comfortable expressing themselves as well

Has it been a smooth road?
As far as my YouTube business and career are concerned – there have defiantly been some struggles – and I think pretty much everyone goes through ups and downs. Before I built my home in 2018, I was working for an amazing company, in amazing position doing something I loved and getting rewarded for it generously. But as they say, all good things must come to an end. One day I had a job, the next they fired our top executive and several others- as well as myself. I was distraught to say the lease. I was a young woman with a BRAND NEW mortgage and now no job. After literally picking myself up off the bathroom floor at what used to be my job- I took my box of things and never looked back. Thankfully I was blessed to be able to take the opportunity as a much-needed break. I didn’t decide to return back to work until March. Now I’m working for a company that I like and is much more stable, in the same field with more compensation – God is good. As far as my YouTube – it has definitely been an uphill battle, mostly because I want instant stardom and success, lol. But slow and steady wins the race and our consistency is definitely paying off. I love my channel and what it stands for, I love sharing parts of my life with people, and I love being able to help people simply through being vulnerable. So although my channel is not where I want it to be just yet, it bring me so much happiness- and I know sooner than later it will BlOW UP ! Lol

So, as you know, we’re impressed with BreeCaraAmore – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
My company BreeCaraAmore Inc, is mainly an online vlog-style platform. I share my life via YouTube and various other social media platforms, I collaborate with brands I love and share them with my followers. My channel tag-line is Real. life. luxury. That means that while it is definitely a luxury channel- it is also a REAL channel. I address everything from multiple streams of income, mental illness and emotional issues, to current events and the inequality that blacks in America have- I pride myself on being well rounded, and it shows in what I do, that would be that part I am most proud of. I am proud of myself for putting myself out there, unapologetically and truthfully. My second career, however, is a little less fun and glamorous lol – I work in management in the healthcare field, but I appreciate what I do and the experiences I’ve gained from each

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love living in the suburbs !! I grew up in the suburbs of Nebraska so Richmond TX is perfect for me. I live in a quiet, beautiful area surrounded by lakes and opens spaces. I couldn’t ask for more.
