Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittnee Linnear.
So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started in print marketing and that’s where my love and passion for graphic designing grew. That was back in 2008, ever since I have been custom designing good for businesses, events, parties/weddings. After having my second child, I decided to focus more on social media and teaching & equipping businesses for the most important platforms that people base business off of. But for me, just designing was not enough. I had gained new knowledge that could help a lot of people. So I decided to be a Brand & Digital Market Designer. I help small businesses and entrepreneurs put an action plan with complementary designs. To break it down, I help people take their dreams and create plans for them to follow, along with engaging, targeted graphics to make people hit the buy button.
I also teach fellow Graphic Designers Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator hacks, tips, and strategies to help them earn their own income in this trade. I’ve taught two sessions thus far and looking forward to teaching many more.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
HECK NO!! Fear and doubt plague you each and every step of the way because people are constantly judging your work. And when all you want to do is help and please, a polite no still stings like a knife wound. I also struggled with work-life balance. If you get in a groove, it’s hard to detach and go to sleep, lol.
MAAD Marketing – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
MAAD Marketing specializes in brand packages and social media marketing. Mostly known for the dope designs we put out for our clients and out of the box ideas we present to make you stand out in the market. We’re “MAAD” because we don’t want to do the industry standard, we want to make companies reflective of their goals, which makes them stand out and make bank!!!
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
My proudest moment has been able to complete designs for Microsoft stores and Budweiser office.
