Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryce Conner.
Hi Bryce, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
After graduating from High School, and with the support of my family, I decided to attend the University of Houston and major in Architecture. Architecture seemed to have come natural to me, and I always knew that one day that I would want to eventually become licensed and own my own firm. After graduating, I had the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills from working at several local architectural firms. The knowledge and skills I gained helped me get to where I am today. I was able to obtain my license as well as starting my own architectural firm in the city of Houston. I am very grateful for the opportunities that I have had thus far and being able to live out my dream while providing for my family and being of service to my community.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the major challenges that I have had was actually starting a business during Covid. I can remember a family member asking me, “What are you doing?” Are you sure you want to start a business at this time?” I knew that it was time, and I decided to step out on faith and pursue my dream of having my own. Of course, any new business owner would be a bit nervous, but I knew that owning my own firm was something that I really wanted to do and that I would put forth the effort to ensure that it would be successful.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
B Ingenious Designs is an architectural firm that specializes in residential and commercial development. We offer architectural services that help homeowners design their dream homes, and help developers create and redesign existing communities. One thing that I would say that sets me apart from others is my attention to detail and the fact that my firm takes a great deal of pride when it comes to providing excellent customer service. I am most proud that my firm can be viewed as an example to other minority that creating your own path and being successful within the architectural industry is possible. We would like readers to know that if they are looking to design their dream home or commercial project that our firm can assist. We would also like readers to know that if they are thinking about developing a project that we can assist as well. We offer a complementary 15-minute free consultation to our new clients. We also provide the following services: site visits, preliminary residential and commercial research, preliminary land planning, and architectural construction consulting. What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Providing excellent customer service has definitely contributed to my success. I pride myself on being able to be there to support clients on the development of their project, whether it is building their dream home or development of a property. I want to ensure that their needs are meet and doing so requires excellent customer service. I also feel as though being personable plays a role as well. My profession requires a great deal of client interaction, and I feel as though one has to be personable in order to be successful in this industry.
