Today we’d like to introduce you to Camia Jones.
Camia Jones is a wife, mother, and daughter of Pamela Doze and Ronald Jones. Camia Jones, a native to Houston, started her interest in pharmacy at Texas Southern University. Majoring in pre pharmacy, she gained insight into the different effects that medications had on the body. With this knowledge, she chose to change her major to Biology to gain a better understanding of the body. In 2015 she graduated with her B.S. in Biology and a minor in chemistry she toyed with the idea of pharmacy school. After extensive contemplation and studying, she decided to apply to pharmacy school. She is currently a second year pharmacy student at the Xavier University of Louisiana. She has recently opened an online business, Clearly Radiant Essentials, that allows her to express her love for DIY skincare products.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been tough, but that’s life! I have had to move states to continue education and adjust to a new city. I have been juggling motherhood and being a wife while pursuing my PharmD. My father passed recently, which was really devastating for me. And was actually the catapult in my business launching. A quote that inspires me to keep pushing is one by Dr. Thomas Freeman “What we do we do well what we don’t do we don’t do at all.”

Clearly, Radiant Essentials is a skincare company that aims for great skin with great ingredients. Our products contain 100 % organic, all natural, ingredients along with NO parabens, aluminum, artificial preservatives and other additives that can be detrimental to our overall health. Just clean ingredients that get the job done. I have been instrumental in the development of each product, producing, and distributing. I have also created a marketing plan by implementing brand ambassadors, Mikalah Muhammad of Winston Salem, NC, from and Desiree Riascos of Houston, Texas. I am most proud of our ability to serve our customers and their needs as it relates to their skincare. My work ethic and constant need for knowledge is something that sets me apart from others.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was a great child who didn’t get in a lot of trouble. My goal was always to make my parents proud. Fun fact is I have never gotten a whooping.
