Caris, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
In 2012, I was at a point in my life where I’d lost everything from my previous career in Child Development and became depressed. I was drowning in unfilled emotions I felt helpless, like a failure, frustrated, betrayed, confused, and any other toxic emotion that bombarded my mind and thoughts, In those moments I did not know what to do or how to get my life back on track of happiness and fulfillment. I was at a state of uncertainty as far as how to walk in my purpose, how to heal myself form the past toxic hurt and unforgiveness. In those moments, I needed to find myself, my emotional healing, and my purpose, then a flash of inspiration came to me in way of scripture Jeremiah 29:11 and that was what ignited the fire in me to discovering my purpose and beginning my healing process. Within six months, I was taking the necessary actions towards the goals of purpose and today Destiny Walkers Network is birthed. Destiny Walkers Network is an online business network and resource for women to receive levels to their emotional healing, discovering their gifts and passions, sisterhood accountability, and ultimately walk in their purpose.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has definitely not been a smooth road, to reaching my goals and walking the path of purpose and reaching the point of this success. There are many challenges becoming an entrepreneur. They include many struggles along the way. Struggles and obstacles of no support, lack of funds, family issues, lack of resources and just have the mental strength of pushing through it all to be where I am today. I just believe everyone will have similar struggles but just like me the power of persistence, consistency and perseverance will get them through. I have always been a woman of tenacity and resilience, pushing until the end of all progress.

My company is Destiny Walkers Network, a nationwide online business and women’s resource purpose platform. We specialize in helping powerful ambitious women unfold their gifts, and passions so they are able walk in their purpose living fulfilled lives. We are known for the program called “The Metamorphosis of Destiny” a program that gives women four stages of process from emotional/health, financial, psychological, physical. The program creates a unique analysis of her emotional balance, personal development, goals, visions, dreams, and giving her the blueprint to effectively pursue her purpose and walk it out boldly.
What I’m most proud of as a company is the fact that we are an online company which first off gives women from all walks of life and locations the freedom as well as the ability to be free in being who she is. And also live anywhere in the world to be a part of our network and accomplish their purpose.

We have been featured as seen on CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX NEWS as well as a host of other national news and newspapers worldwide. As the CEO Destiny Consultant and purpose strategist, I have the experiences to help women come through their challenges, emotional healing, and discovering purpose. I also have educational theory and certification in my abilities to lead and guide women to their next levels in life.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Destiny Walkers Network plans for the future consist of being more digitally inclined and build a worldwide network. We are planning to open Chapters in seven states and internationally with powerful women who are leaders and believe in the mission and vision of Destiny Walkers Network. We are also creating media opportunities for women to get exposure as they are walking in their purpose.
