Craftex was founded in 1977 in an industrial warehouse district. We started by supplying a thriving macrame hobby for the home and garden enthusiasts. Progress was made during the arts and crafts years that provided growth and diversification in the lines of products offered and in 1992 we expanded our service to the Decorator, Designer, and Floral Trades. Since then, we have traveled the world markets and became a direct importer of quality decorative items for the home and business.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Craftex Wholesale Distributors story. Tell us more about the business.
We are Houston’s largest selection of Imported Silk, Satin, and French Ribbons. We have an expansive showroom of exquisite silk and dried floral. We provide In-House custom floral design.
Our book department carries a huge selection of coffee table books on Designer, Decorator, Home and Garden, Cooking, Architecture, Arts, and Travel.
Our Christmas showroom is the season’s Trim-A-Tree Headquarters, offering beautiful high quality Christmas decorations from around the world. You will walk into an inspiring and captivating scene showcasing the color and warmth of the holidays.
Our garden department offers great variety of pottery, urns, cast iron benches, marble benches, accent architectural pieces, and fountains.
