Thanks for sharing your story with us Carman. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I begin making desserts as a hobby for my sisters. My aunt encouraged me to begin selling my products. One day while sitting in Chuck E Cheese at my nephew party my younger cousin set up my Instagram page. I begin doing treats for my friends. Fast forward a few months later, I met an awesome sweet sister over at Trendee Kreations that encourage me to really market my products. After that, I begin receiving bookings weekly. I continue to push myself, learn and offer new products. You most definitely have to keep up with the trends.
Has it been a smooth road?
Staying motivated and pushing myself to continue this journey. It’s not easy but I am passionate about what I do and I have several ladies that have made my journey easier. I am usually more excited thanks my clients when they choose my services.

KayKar Kreates offer customized treats for any themed event. I love dipping anything in chocolate it is so satisfying to my soul. I am most known for my collaborations with other women in the party industry. I will continue to collaborate and network with other queens like myself.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Houston is a city of great possibilities, I would not have any other way. I would recommend anyone interested in getting in the industry to align yourself with other people in your industry. I would appreciate if my city offered free business classes for the up and coming entrepreneurs.
