Today we’d like to introduce you to Cassandra Daniels.
Attorney Cassandra Daniels founded the Daniels Law Firm (DLF), named in honor of her late father, Rev. F.L. Daniels. After 13 years of marriage, Cassandra divorced and started her journey to becoming an attorney. As a new single mother of two, she tenaciously pursued her goal overcoming every obstacle that she faced. While doing so, Cassandra also worked as a paralegal in the area of family law. As a licensed attorney, Cassandra employs that same bulldog tenacity representing her client’s interest. She is a zealous advocate and is not afraid of the courtroom! The three pillars of DLF are knowledge, skill, and excellence. Cassandra utilized each to give her clients the highest quality of competent representation and legal counsel. She is aggression in its most elegant form.
Has it been a smooth road?
Not at all. I married at the age of 18. I left my dad’s house and went to my husband’s house. I knew nothing about life. How to take care of myself, let alone myself and two little ones. After my separation and divorce, I struggled to find work and even shelter for my children and I. My children and I moved around a lot. When I did obtain work, I worked full-time and attended law school part-time. During that time, I had to parent my children via text while sitting in night class. Because I was always away from home, my house became the neighborhood hang out for the neighborhood children. My daughter was sexually assaulted in my home by one of the neighborhood boys while I was at school. I had to take leave from school at least twice because my absence from home was effecting my children negatively. It took me five years to graduate law school. I knew from the 7th grade that I wanted to be a lawyer and that never changed. However, I didn’t realize that dream until the age of 37. It took me ten years to complete my undergraduate degree. I was married then and had two toddlers. We could not afford daycare so I had to attend school whenever I could and had to take leave to work to bring in finances into the household. I never changed my mind about my goal.

I am the founding attorney of Daniels Law Firm, PLLC. Right now, our primary focus is family law, (we also do estate planning); however, I am looking to expand my area of practice. I am known for being a zealous advocate for my clients. A bulldog in stillettos. My clients become like my family to me, in that I make sure that no one gets over on them! I pride myself in being a lawyer who sees beyond the dollar, but actually see the person and their life issues. I’m proud of our customer service. That I take time to communicate with the client to explain the process in laymen terms so they are well informed. The three pillars of my practice are skill, knowledge and excellence. I take these principals from the book of Daniel. Daniel 1: 4,17. I see what I do as an attorney as bringing God where he will not otherwise be. Bringing kingdom principals to the legal sector.
