Today we’d like to introduce you to Chandra Ware.
Chandra, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’m a retired Parole Agent from California whose career ended after 21 years due to a work-related accident which caused me to retire 11 year early. Being 43 when I retired I had to find something else to do that would not be so taxing so I decided to go the Real Estate route. I have always like helping people so working the Real Estate filed would allow me to do just that.
I also had a mother who was my role model who showed me the importance of owning your own home and/or land so I continued her legacy to own my own homes and to show others how to obtain the same.
I have a firm who it only helps families acquire their dream home but we also give back to the community in various ways such has Buyers 101, Home Buyers Education Community Service and Holiday Gift Giving.
Sapphire Realty is a Real Estate Firm that not only has Agent, we are a family and support each other in business and Extra Curricular Activities. Just as well we work hard for a Clients we Play Hard as a Family.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Nothing is smooth if you are successful. I have had my bumps in the road with a revolving door of Agents, After 4 years of being solo I open the doors to partners which ended in the 2nd year and just branding and making the name Sapphire a household name.
Now I must say that after 7 years Sapphire is doing very well. I have 17 Agents and growing, We have partnered with various Builders and Mortgages Companies/Banks and we are on our way. We have even expanded to the Central Texas area where we’re doing very well there.
