Today we’d like to introduce you to Charlotte Williams.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
After my divorce, I went to work for a long time established salon in Angleton, Tx. I worked at that salon for 21 years and always dreamed about opening my own salon. Working at that salon showed me the ins and outs of owning a salon. I was blessed to work with a great owner and other stylists. With my children almost all grown, it was the right time to focus on my own salon. About a year and a half ago, I started my business plan down at our local college. With their assistance, my husband and I opened up Monarch Studio.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Once we found out we could do the build-out and the designing of the studio ourselves, it was a go from there.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
We are all about hair. We are known for truly listening to our clients and meeting their needs. I am most proud that we are all team players. We are always there to help each other. We are a team-based pay and we offer a new line called SEVEN Haircare products.
What were you like growing up?
I was an average student but determined to better myself and achieve my goals.
