Dr. King is the Founder/CEO of Charly Girl Cosmetics. She has taken lipsticks to the next level. Over twenty-five colors, waterproof, long lasting and containing Vitamin E is her secret. Charly Girl Cosmetics launched in 2017 and headed nationwide.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road to success is never easy. Many think if I just come up with one idea then that will be it! Not!!!! Life is a journey and there are many crossroads that you will have to endure such as startup cost, product, meeting people and trying to impress them with your product. I learned that if they shut the door then return and buy the whole building!!!!

Charly Girl Cosmetics is built on girl power. The colors represent all of the colors of women around the world. We have over twenty-five colors that are uniquely made for each one. Charly Girl Cosmetics feels that It doesn’t matter what color, shape, size or height you are…we are simply blessed. I was told that the journey of a million miles began with one step and Charly Girl Cosmetics has put one foot in front of the other one!

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
My motivation and what has kept me going would be my faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. People often say I am a Big Shot….I must say I am….because a big shot is a little shot that kept on shooting!!!!!
