Meet Chloe Di Leo of My Drink Bomb LLC

Chloe, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I am the founder and creator of The Original Drink Bomb. What started out as a way to get my kids, to drink more flavorful healthy water exploded into a start up business.

MY DRINK BOMB launched less than one year ago and it widely popular among the cool and chic, food and drink lovers.

What started as a way for Chloé Di Leo to encourage her kids to drink more water is now — just less than one year — a startup making a splash on the wedding industry.

Di Leo, a local jewelry designer, and the founder launched My Drink Bomb LLC in Houston at the beginning of summer 2018. She tells saying the product was inspired by bath bombs, fizzing once added to a beverage. She created the company in early June of last year and now have expanded into Houston area locations such as Richard’s Fine Wine and Liquor on  Kirby Dr. with more locations by the end of the year.  We currently working on national and international distribution in the UK, Mexico and Europe.

MY DRINK BOMB are artisan handcrafted, cocktail drink mixers made with natural ingredients, cane sugar, organic herbs, and 24K gold leaf. Think bath bombs, but these bombs are edible for your cocktails and mocktails! Simply add to your favorite alcohol, sparkling soda or water, and bam, you have a handcrafted cocktail (or mocktail) in just minutes.

Drink bombs come in variety sampler packs or packs of 2, 4, 12 in your favorite flavors like Margarita, Bellini Blush, Cosmo, Mojito, Pina Colada, Moscow Mule and so many more!! And There’s even a Hangover bomb crafted from activated charcoal and zesty tangerine extract to reduce headaches and help reduce and release toxins from your body. Yes, please! The Hangover Bomb is actually yummy light and refreshing. I like to drink it even when I don’t have a hangover. With 30 calories per serving and a sugar-free option! This is just beginning for MY DRINK BOMB – FIT Bombs, Smart Coffee, and Tea Bombs will Launch Summer 2019.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The biggest challenge is introducing a new product to the market that no one has ever heard of or seen.  We are in constantly in front of the people hosting events and parties once we are there the response is amazing and people just love our product!

MY DRINK BOMB is the coolest thing to hit the cocktail craft scene. We created a fun and easy way to drink cocktails and mocktails. We are proud to create a unique product. A fun and exciting twist to drinking cocktails, not to mention healthy and yummy! What’s not to love about yummy fizzy low calorie cocktails? Cocktails made simple & easy!

We put love into each handcrafted cocktail. We are known for our excellent customer service and presentation and quality of our product.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success is determined by passion working hard and perseverance and perfecting your craft.  Never giving up when others tell you otherwise.  The power of “No” is powerful because it only gets you closer to a “yes”.  Success is doing what you love.
