Today we’d like to introduce you to Christian Osornio Peña.
Hi Christian, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my journey as a massage therapist in 2007, it’s hard to believe that so many years have passed since I started this rewarding career! After many years of working in the area for other small businesses, learning and growing I opened my shop in Kemah, TX 5 years ago and still loving this small paradise outside of the city. I love my clients, those who have been with me since 2007 (yes I have a few that have followed my journey all these years) , those I have gained along the way and the ones to come too. My goal is to help as many people as I can! I want everyone who walks into our business to feel welcomed, because we are a business of kindness and inclusivity, no matter what you look like no matter where you come from no matter who you choose to love or what languages you speak you are welcome here. We will figure it out together.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Entrepreneurship is wonderful in many ways but it does come with challenges, having to deal with no income security, working many many hours, long days, late days, early days and hard days but it is all so rewarding I can’t imagine doing anything else, every time I get a message from my clients after a massage telling me how much better they feel or how my massage is the best massage they ever had (their words not mine lol) I feel grateful to be able to do this.

I want everyone who walks in to have a wonderful relaxing experience. What I love about being self employed is that I can dedicate more time to my client relationships, when you come to The O Wellness and Beauty your services won’t be rushed, you’ll get to ask the questions you need to ask, you’ll have time to get up slowly and continue relaxing after your service. All at a very affordable price. Great Customer Service is what I take pride in. We are a small personal service company. Oh and absolutely the most important part you’ll get a great massage, whether you’re looking for a therapeutic deep tissue massage or a light relaxation massage we got your back!
I’m proud of the work that I do in my community, and the surrounding areas, helping people feel better in the good and the bad times in life. You will always walk out feeling better.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memories are filled with my friends running up and down our street playing outside in my hometown in Mexico which is where I’m from. Just enjoying life, sometimes we need that, just getting back to the kid inside and enjoying life and the people in it!
