Christon and Elisha, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Houston is one of the most influential restaurant cities in the world, and our love for this city’s cuisine led to the creation of Brunch Hunch. Brunch is becoming a favorite pastime for Houstonians, and we developed this app to complement the city’s brunch culture accordingly.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The creation of a mobile app takes a combination of vision, creativity, technical acumen, and business savvy. One of our biggest struggles while creating Brunch Hunch was agreeing on a simple, intuitive layout.
We tested several layouts before we finally decided upon our current design. We’re happy with our decision because our layout offers our users a simple, easy-to-use platform for finding the best brunch spots.

What do you specialize in?
Our company (Brunch Hunch) is a free brunch finder mobile app for brunch lovers!
Brunch Hunch lists the top brunch restaurants based on your current location anywhere in the world!!!
What are you known for, etc.?
I’m known for several things. I’ve severed in two branches of the United States military; five years in the US Navy and four years in the US Coast Guard. I’m also a proud HBCU college graduate. I graduated from Texas Southern University with a bachelors in Management Information & Technology in 2014. I’m currently entering my last semester of graduate school at Columbia University in New York City, New York. I’ve also a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, and I have been married to my college sweetheart for eleven years.
What are you most proud of as a company?
As a company, we are most proud of the fact we are tapping into an untapped market! As a millennial, brunch is the up and coming thing for my generation. Therefore, why not make life easier! We all love to eat, and the brunch culture is growing. We created the Brunch Hunch mobile app to help everyone locate some of the best brunch spots in their local area. I feel like our brunch finder app can help hardcore brunchers find new locations and also help the new bruncher become introduced to the world of brunch without being overwhelmed.
What sets you apart from others?
Our app (Brunch Hunch) is different than any other product on the market because we are the first!!! We are the first brunch finder app on the market. Brunch Hunch lists the top brunch restaurants based on anyone’s current location anywhere in the world!!! Therefore, we’re global!
Another cool factor is, Brunch Hunch is a free mobile app! Meaning anyone can download it. All you need is an updated phone, Brunch Hunch is available in both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
What are your plans for the future?
In the future, our plans are to expand our list of restaurants to try and ensure all locations are listed and accounted for. We’re looking forward to allowing users the opportunity to connect with fellow brunch hunchers through social media in the near future!
