Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Williams.
Christopher, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
It all started in 2013 from my first line called Undefined Society. Then in 2015, I changed the name to Lavish Mindz Apparel because everyone around me wanted to live a Lavish lifestyle or was already living one. The movement started growing & we started doing fashion shows outside of the city and even out of state shows. Now we have a fan base over seven plus states.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. I have to deal with people that want free stuff or a discount just because they know me. Also dealing with customers that contact me last minute or the day before for a custom order is challenging sometimes.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Lavish Mindz Apparel – what should we know?
Lavish Mindz means Luxurious Thinking. Our slogan is “Don’t Think Average, Think Lavish.” We are a clothing brand with a number of designs. We specialize in custom orders. We are proud to say that every one of our items/products are custom made. Nine times out of ten, you will not see the same person with the same item on.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
First, I want to give credit to my brother & Co-CEO Brandon Sykes for always supporting me. He also be coming up with some fire colorways & remixing the designs up.
I also want to give credit to my boy Slim (1800GotSlim) for showing me how to use a heat press & cutter machine & showing me the way.
I also want to shoutout my boy ACRE for all the ideas & events we put together.
I also want to thank my mother, my daughter, & my lady for continues motivation and last but not least I want to thank all my supporter, fans & everyone that spent money with me.
