Meet Christy Buck Real Estate Team in Pearland

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christy Buck.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have been in the business for 18 years. Prior to that, I was going into the medical field. But being a third-generation realtor, real estate was in my family. 5 years ago, I hired a business coach with my assistant. At the time we were doing 55 units per year, $250,000 Commissions yearly. We more than doubled our first year with our business coach by putting systems and processes in place and going from a transactional agent to a company of value. We then hired our first buyer agent, then second. The last three years we have since added 18 team members total and taken our team to over $2 Million in Commission and over 300 units closed. We recently went from a large franchise to opening our own real estate company, infinity Real Estate Group in 2015. And are starting construction on our new building this year where we will be a one stop shop for our clients- with a lender and title company in the same building as well. I have also been a Business Coach with Workman Success Systems the last two year now myself, and we have built a program that we teach other real estate companies how to build their systems and processes from A to Z with a program called 7 Figure Ride Along. We have real estate teams fly in from all over the Unites States a few times a year to be a part of this great program to help them grow to the next level also.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Success is bumpy. It has been great and exciting, but it has had its ups and downs. We have had growing pains with our team learning how to add the proper positions and making sure to put the right person in the right seat on the team to be most successful. My favorite story is my Managing Sales Partner hire. We hired her as our 3rd hire as a closing coordinator. But her personality was not right for the position. Right before we felt we needed to let her go, she asked to try a Buyer Agent Position. Since moving her, she is our top producing team member closing 60 transactions herself a year, and now leads our Sales Team. Learning to put the right person in the right seat and putting systems in place to help our company run like a well-oiled machine have had its ups and downs. But been worth it.

We are an independent real estate company located in Pearland, but we handle real estate all over the Houston area. We specialize in residential resale, new home construction, luxury homes, commercial real estate and lease properties. We are known for our outstanding customer service and knowledge in the business. We provide seamless process for our clients to ensure they receive the best guidance.

  • Went from 55 units and $250,000 Commissions in 2012 to $2.2 Million in Commissions and 325+ transactions in 2016
