Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I create analog collages with magazine clippings and recycled paper goods. Collaging allows me to manipulate images and sheets of paper into something new. I collect inspiring shapes and figures from the clippings. Fun Fact: I have kept clippings for almost three years before using them for a collage. I hope that people find my collages inspiring. Challenging everyone to follow along with a different perspective.

Choosing a creative or artistic path comes with many financial challenges. Any advice for those struggling to focus on their artwork due to financial concerns?
What I love most about collaging is that it is an art form I can pick up and work on anywhere as long as I have a stick of glue. I try and recycle as many scraps as possible to make as minimal of waste as possible. One takeaway from this would be if you truly want to create, you will find a way.

My work can primarily be found on my website cintrena.com where I also share what I’m into and big bonus: digital marketing tips. I often share collages to my Instagram @cintrena. My goal is to release select prints, cards and magnets featuring different collages. So please keep an eye out.
