Today we’d like to introduce you to Coryn Raibon.
Coryn Monèt, Owner and Designer, is a 26-year-old Entrepreneur & Fashion Designer from Houston, Texas. She became a graduate of Tennessee State University in December 2014 where she earned a degree in Mass Communications. Throughout high school and college, she worked in customer service as a server and bartender. Coryn Monèt taught herself how to sew from watching videos and sewing tutorials on YouTube with no prior sewing experience. Envysaje was launched in March 2016 with the focus to provide custom clothing for men, women, and kids of all shapes and sizes. Each item is custom made by Designer Coryn Monét with each clients’ specific measurements in mind to assure that it compliments their body type, height, etc. Coryn Monét’s mother taught her at a very young age to work hard for what she wants and to never depend on anyone. As a result, she’s always pushed herself to become the very best at what she does. She knew she could accomplish anything she put her mind to if she believed in herself. She’s honored to be the woman behind the sewing machine for all items in her clothing line.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
This journey has not been easy but I am learning more about myself and my purpose as a Self Taught entrepreneur. There’s been many ups as well as many downs but I have proved to myself that this is something that I’m very passionate about and I will never give up on it. I’ve learned throughout my journey that designing off of my clients’ exact measurements will prevent most issues and malfunctions from happening as well as protect me as the Designer.

Envysaje was launched in March 2016 with the focus to provide custom clothing for men, women, and kids of all shapes and sizes. Each item is custom made by Designer Coryn Monét with each client’s specific measurements in mind to assure that it compliments their body type, height, etc. Coryn Monét started off making swimsuits only but as I built my clientele and my audience realized that I could sew, I was asked to make a jacket, a dress, etc. I never said no and constantly pushed myself to learn how to make anything. I found myself with a strong love for designing Wedding and Prom Gowns. I am most proud that I am self-taught and consistent with bettering myself in my work. Coryn Monét is also branching out into Cosmetics this Spring 2019!
What were you like growing up?
Growing up I was always the talkative child in both class and at home. I have always had a bull mentality and the word “no” never set well with me. I knew that if I wanted something, I had to work my behind off to get it and I in fact, would have it.
