Cristina Hernandez is a bilingual Licensed Esthetician who has been in the skincare industry since 2002. She also holds many certifications from The American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics, a Masters Certification in Micropigmentation (permanent makeup), and most recently, a certification in Plasma Lift. Prior to owning and operating Lasting Beauty Spa, Cristina gained valuable experience, and an invaluable set of skills working closely with well-known plastic surgeons in the Houston area and dermatologists for many years, as a cosmetic medical assistant.
Cristina’s passion for esthetics motivated her to establish Lasting Beauty Spa in 2016. Since then, she has kept up with the latest industry leading techniques and was quickly recognized and featured in Houstonia Magazine in 2018. She has made it her vision and goal to help both women and men look and feel confident, youthful and refreshed.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have been very blessed to not have encountered any major struggles since establishing Lasting Beauty Spa in 2016. Fortunately, my business has been very successful; however, this may not be so good for my clients as they are having to book appointments weeks to months in advance to ensure availability for their sessions as I am the only esthetician.

What do we do/known for/specialize in: Skin Care such as Facial treatments, beauty enhancements such as micropigmentation (permanent make up), Brow and lash tint, lash lift, Waxing services, Body treatments such as Body Slimming Treatment, body buff treatment and more and rejuvenation treatments such as micro-needling, radio-frequency treatments, and Plasma Lift treatment.
What sets us apart from others: Cristina takes the time to personally know and understand her clients in order to tailor each treatment to their specific needs.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success as having the ability to pursue what I am passionate about, having a positive impact on the lives of others by uplifting them and helping them lead better happier lives. Having family that loves and cares for you and children that make you proud. And most importantly the freedom to worship a loving God!
