I’ve loved medicine and education since I can remember. Working in traditional healthcare settings left me disillusioned as I noticed that we had to rush through a lot of patient visits to cover overhead. Patients had to wait long periods of time for hurried visits. Care was also very expensive for the patient.
Researching other healthcare delivery methods, we found direct primary care. Patients pay a monthly fee and as many primary care visits as they need. It gives patients quick access to their doctor and allows the practice of medicine on a personal level.
My husband has a hospitality background. And although we have different careers, we found common ground in business – caring for people. We opened Bene Health and Wellness Clinic in Spring 2019 to truly show care for people, not just treat disease. We provide education, compassion and competent medical care in a setting infused with hospitality.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road has definitely not been smooth, but I know that the challenges drive change. I’m a wife and a mother. Starting this business affected our finances, our schedules, everything. Starting a clinic is expensive. There were construction delays, permitting issues, etc. This business challenges me in areas that are not taught in medical school. I’m glad to have a great team to rely on. There is no way I could have gotten this far without them.

Bene Health and Wellness Clinic is a hospitality driven health care experience. We offer primary care services for people ages 0 – 105. We value you by providing a level of comfort and hospitality that is rarely seen in the medical industry. Bene offers individualized goal-setting based on not only health assessments but also acknowledging the other factors that influence health. Bene utilizes a variety of clinic settings and educational techniques to help illustrate various strategies to improve health and accommodate different learning styles. We even offer means beyond traditional health insurance to pay for services, including direct healthcare and special healthcare packages. We show that we value your time by limiting the number of clients scheduled for services at the same place and time. This allows us to provide each client with prompt, thorough, personalized service.

- Diamond Direct Primary Care Plan – Unlimited office and technology visits. Diamond level labs included. Premium linens. Lounge and Water Bar access. Health excursions included. Home visits available. $225/month
- Family Direct Primary Care Plan – Unlimited office and technology visits. Diamond level labs included. Premium linens. Lounge and Water Bar access. Health excursions included. Home and school visits available. Includes up to 2 adults and up to 3 children. $325/month
- Dependent children can be added to any individual or family plan for $25/month
- One-time deposit of $100 applies for uninterrupted service on individual and family plans.
