Today we’d like to introduce you to Daja Azul.
Hi Daja, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Growing up, I’ve always been someone who loved creating and expressing myself, even if I didn’t fully realize where that passion would lead. As I got older, I found myself constantly evolving and moving to new places, stepping outside of my comfort zone, and learning that growth often requires you to let go of the version of yourself you’ve outgrown. Those experiences sparked a deeper interest in storytelling and creating meaningful connections. I started sharing more of my perspective online, launched my podcast, Love, Daja Azul, and began building a creative brand that reflects who I am beyond any single title. Through content creation, I’ve been able to have conversations about personal growth, self-discovery, and embracing change in a way that feels genuine. Looking back, I realize every pivot has served a purpose. Each new chapter has strengthened my confidence, expanded my creativity, and reminded me that success doesn’t have to follow a traditional path. Today, I’m continuing to build a business rooted in storytelling, authenticity, and creating spaces where people feel seen, encouraged, and inspired to embrace their own journey.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the biggest challenges has been giving myself permission to evolve. For a long time, I felt like I needed to have everything figured out or follow a traditional path. As I’ve grown, I’ve realized that success doesn’t always look the way we expect it to, and it’s okay to pivot when your goals and passions evolve. Like many entrepreneurs and creatives, I’ve faced moments of uncertainty, self-doubt, and starting over. Those seasons weren’t always easy, but they taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of trusting my own vision instead of comparing my journey to someone else’s. Today, I view challenges differently. Rather than seeing them as setbacks, I see them as opportunities to grow, refine my purpose, and continue building a life and business that genuinely aligns with who I am.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a content creator, podcaster, and creative entrepreneur who enjoys using storytelling to inspire personal growth and meaningful conversations. Through my podcast, social media platforms, and creative projects, I share honest reflections on self-discovery, confidence, and navigating life’s transitions in a way that feels authentic and relatable.
One area I’m especially excited about is Glow Up Guidance, where I help women become the best version of themselves from the inside out. For me, a glow up isn’t just about appearance. It’s about mindset, confidence, emotional well-being, and creating a life that feels aligned with who you are. I love helping women recognize their potential and take intentional steps toward the life they’re envisioning.
What I’m most proud of is building a platform that encourages authenticity over perfection. I don’t create content to present a flawless life, I create content that reminds people they’re allowed to evolve, start over, and define success on their own terms. I think what sets me apart is my willingness to share both the lessons and the journey, creating a space where people feel seen, encouraged, and empowered to grow.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t think luck is something you can control, but I do think you can control how prepared you are when opportunities come your way. Some of the biggest opportunities in my life have come from consistently showing up, putting my work out into the world, and being willing to start before I felt completely ready. Of course, there have been setbacks and unexpected challenges, but I’ve learned that those moments often redirect you toward something better. Looking back, some of the things I once saw as bad luck ended up shaping me into a more resilient, creative, and adaptable person. Today, I’m grateful for both the opportunities and the obstacles because they’ve each played a role in my journey.
