Today we’d like to introduce you to Dan King.
Dan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I stumbled upon real estate by accident, along with a group of friends we were investing and buying properties in the early 2000’s, rehabbing, then selling them or keeping them as rentals. One day someone had mentioned that I should go ahead and get the real estate license, so I did. I started to do more and more transactions on my own so I fully immersed myself into everything and anything real estate related. I grew my network, became a member of the Asian Real Estate Association of America(AREAA) which I am currently serving as the Houston chapters Vice President and recently partnered with a direct lending company LoanDirect.us, which specializes in alternative financing solutions helping people to be able invest in real estate who may not able to able in conventional ways.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There were many challenges along the way but I took each mistake and failure as a learning opportunity to better myself to learn how to future serve better.

I plan on growing my network and making connections to grow this empire and helping as many people along the way as possible achieve their dreams in investing, owning real estate or their entrepreneurial journey.
