Dang, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’m passionate about life, people, documentary storytelling and the creative arts. I love every moment of what I do. It’s an awesome feeling to know that I can be a part of a beautiful wedding day help the clients capture those unforgettable moments in their life! I love that I get to work with real people with all different backgrounds and stories.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been all trial and errors, I did not attend college or take any course! some of the hiccups I’ve stumbled across was the lack of consistent work starting out. The problem was a lack of portfolio to display my work! My best advice to those who are starting out is shoot allot! and shoot for free to build a portfolio! I believe the best way to learn is to get out there and just do it. Learn from your mistake and fix it the next time the opportunity presents itself!
DNPIXELS – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I’m an adventurous and free-spirited photographer. My style heavily favors on creating beautiful artwork for my client’s home. I believe in creating artistic images that tell the story of my client’s day in a lasting way. For the documentary portion of my client’s day, I believe in raw, emotional moments that will tell the stories of my client’s lives for their future generations!!
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The art of storytelling through my lens. If I can tell someone’s love story back to you through photographs, that’s enough for me.
