Meet Danni Gyrl

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danni Gyrl.

Hi Danni, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Danni Gyrl and I am the owner of D’vine Management and Entertainment Group also known as DMEG. We specialize in Indie Artist and small business services. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been a very hard and long road, but I have no regrets. Some days I have wanted to quit some days. I have wanted to throw in the towel and walk away some days. I wanted to bury my head in the sand, but I managed to pull through and stay on track. It’s been a roller coaster of emotions, financial ups, and downs, changing employees, changing sponsors, self financing, but I have no regrets. Each high each low each in between moment was all the set up for something greater. In 2022, business started to plummet and I was ready to give up but I found a way to pivot, founded the annual DMEG block party, and got things back on track. We have celebrated 5 years and there’s no looking back.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Ive founded a multi-service company dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs, artists, and small businesses through artist development, media, entertainment, concerts and community events. I specialize in networking events and artist & small business showcases. I’m best known for my impact in the West Coast indie music community. I’m also known for the annual DMEG Block Party that attracts artists and media from all over the country. It’s one of DMEG’s biggest and most anticipated networking events of the year. I’m very proud of the block party and how it brings not only the music scene but also the community together.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The quality I feel is most important to my success is being self confident and learning to meet people where they are. What I mean by that, I try to meet people where they are with their budget and with their career. Indie artist have a hard time financing their careers and getting things done and when this is communicated to me, I try my best to help in anyway I can, often giving away services for free. My blessings still come and we are still able to make money from paying artists and donations from supporters, I feel being a service has been my biggest priority and has played the biggest part in my success. I actually received 2 awards recently for my service to the community and my contribution to indie music. The acknowledgment lets me know I’m on the right path.
