Today we’d like to introduce you to Dariana Johnson.
Hi Dariana, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve been an esthetician for 2 years. I went to Aveda in 2019 and graduated July 2019, I started my own business in August 2019. I have been running my business Dari Skin for two years as well, I’ve always been into skincare, beauty and the industry.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, the road was not always easy and it was extremely hard for me to get clientele at first. Having a business is very hard, but it is definitely worth it. The road was not always smooth but I am extremely grateful for the support I have and the continued success. I have had times where I wanted to give up but I’m so glad I didn’t!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in facials, waxing & teeth whitening! I am mainly known for my facials. I think what sets me apart from others is my originality, I’ve never copied or wanted to be like another esthetician or anyone in the industry.
How do you define success?
My definition of success would be going what you love every day for a living.
