Hi Dayana, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always been a skin fanatic for as long as I remember. Several years ago, my daughter gifted me a facial at a spa and I fell in love with the experience. I felt like I could offer these services with my own unique touch. I enrolled in beauty school and really perfected my craft. Opening Jeunesse Med spa was my next big leap, and I was afraid of failure. I was still building clientele and my place in the beauty business world. I started trialing my facials on friends and family members, and the feedback was always positive. I began to take ownership of my craft and my true potential. The truth is, I’m good at what I do and once I internalized that, I began strategizing a plan to make it all come to life. Now I enjoy my days at Jeunesse med spa, taking care of my clients- some regulars and some new. I’m excited to see my business grow and to see my clients’ skin glow.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing worth it ever comes easy. Because I’m so passionate about what I do, I often found myself prioritizing my client’s schedule over my own. Learning to set healthy boundaries and guidelines for myself, so that I continue to enjoy my work and my clients was a lesson I had to learn early on. For example, how to handle last-minute cancellations, and other incidents that are inevitable in this industry. But overall, the greatest struggle was self-doubt. Mindset and attitude can be so self-limiting. But I learned how to override those negative thought processes and reclaim the trajectory of my life.

Jeunesse Medspa offers facials, including extractions, microdermabrasion, radio frequency, derma planing, body contouring and much more. As the skin specialist at Jeunesse, I am best known for my relaxing and client-centered facials. I can take one look at my client’s skin and cater an entire treatment and regimen guided to suit her skin’s needs. I am talented at what I do, because I love it and enjoy constantly researching and applying evidence-based approaches to skincare. I also truly value the relationship I have with my clients. We are in constant communication, and I have regulars who even text me on weekends for a quick question regarding their skin or ask for personal advice when they are on my table. Think of me as your skin therapist.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is the client experience and trust. I believe time at my spa can be healing and I enjoy seeing my clients leave satisfied.
