Demetria, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
What originally started off as a hobby has grown into something so much more.
I discovered my love for creating DIYs, cooking, and baking at a young age. I would often assist my grandmother in the kitchen during family gatherings. Over the years, I became more and more inspired into creating sweet treats and in 2016, I followed my passion for baking and opened Demi’s Cake Boutique!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Every bump in the road makes me appreciate every win. In the beginning, it was slow. Then, one day, I was putting together a sweet treat for my nieces and nephew. I posted it to my social media sites and to my surprise, I went viral!! YES, my World Famous Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Brookies currently have over 160,263 shares and have reached over 17,363,142 people via Facebook!

Demi’s Cake Boutique specializes in irresistible cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and gourmet chocolate covered delights. My true passion is designing amazing dessert cakes! My cakes are special because I’m a true artist at heart and I have an eye for perfection. My greatest satisfaction making a cake and seeing the excitement and happiness it brings to the person who receives it.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
What’s next for Demi’s Cake Boutique is to continue to grow, learn, and perfect my God Given talent! I’ve recently stepped out on faith and invested into purchasing a custom bakery trailer! I’m super duper excited and by Summer/Fall we should have it up and fully running. I’m looking forward to all the amazingly wonderful opportunities this will bring to Demi’s Cake Boutique. So be on the look out!
