Today we’d like to introduce you to Demetrius James.
Demetrius, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
In my late years of high school, I discovered my love for fashion. I got my first modeling contract at the age of 20. Modeling came so naturally, local photographers started to take notice and from there, I continued to book small shoots.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Fortunately, in the small amount of time I’ve spent pursuing my career, I have not run into any problems. Everything has been smooth and enjoyable being able to work at my own pace as a freelance model. Unfortunately, it’s too soon to tell, however, struggling is a part of life and I am prepared to run into speed bumps along the road to success.

What sets myself apart from others is that I do not concern myself with others expectations of who I should be I set myself free by allowing no limitations on my abilities. The thing that I am most proud of professionally is learning who I am as I build my brand as a Model and entertainer across the board
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
My definition of success is being better then you were yesterday. Whether small steps or big leaps improvement equals success.
