Hi Demetrius and Brandon, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
The covid pandemic was the push for us to start our cleaning service business. We were in the process of planning for different business ventures and when the opportunity to start Carpet Kingz arose we couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
Brandon And I have been collegiate teammates & roommates which has definitely helped in this process of building from the ground up and working as a unit to grow our vision.
We plan on expanding our company by engraving our name and great service into the Carpet & upholstery cleaning world.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There is no smooth road when it comes to building a business of any sort. There were and still is many challenges we face on our journey. The biggest obstacle we faced is building a solid foundation and getting our Business name out there and recognized for the top-quality service we provide.
The way we’ve combat that is by taking it one day and customer at a time, doing the best we can to make sure they are satisfied. When you’re going into people’s homes, you want to make sure they feel comfortable and love the outcome of whatever the task may be.

Carpet Kingz is a company that has been around for over two years specializing in residential & commercial carpet cleaning and upholstery. Carpet Kingz was started in Houston, Texas by two young men by the name of Brandon & Demetrius who became lifelong friends while playing football at Texas State University. Demetrius & Brandon started this company from the ground up, and til this day both still operate the business personally. Here at Carpet Kingz, we are known for our professionalism and of course top tier quality work. We believe that is what sets Carpet Kingz apart from other companies as well as bringing great joy to their customers by simply ensuring that their promises are met. Company wise we are most proud of seeing that smile on a customer’s faces after their carpet has been cleaned after years of dirt or when a customer’s couch looks brand new after a good deep cleaning. We want our readers to know that Carpet Kingz are the kings for a reason and we take great pride in our business. We want people to feel comfortable and confident about giving us the opportunity to come into their homes and getting the job done.
