Meet Deron Bradley and Bao Vu of D3 MotorSports in Southwest

Today we’d like to introduce you to Deron Bradley and Bao Vu.

Deron and Bao, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started the company with an idea and transformed it into what it is today. I was selling wheels and tires from the of  back of my car at the time.  I would pick them up and deliver them to my clients whenever I could. I was approached by a client that loved what we did for them and they suggested we open shop and people would take me a little more seriously.

In 2016, we opened D3 Motorsports first location which started with one garage bay and two offices and a showroom. I worked a full-time job in Oil and Gas until I was laid-off in March of 2017.  I told myself if I was part of the RIF I would focus on the business full time and see what would happen.  Not knowing what would happen the first day I secured a job doing a full car wrap and it went from there. Just after three years we opened our second location with 4000 sqft and lots of room to store cars and work on them.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Smooth road, not at all. I have lost people in my life that I thought where friends. Business friends that said they were friends that stabbed me in the back.  After all of that I continued to stay focused and positive and not to give up. My mentality was “I have come this far why give up now”.

Being a self-funded business, the struggles with money and balancing work and life have been hard but we take it day by day client by client.
Just getting the right people around you staying focused and keeping a Positive mentality.

Please tell us about D3 MotorSports.
We are a full service one stop shop specializing in wheels, tires, wraps, detailing, window tint, and paint protection. We are known for wheels and tires and wraps most of all. We love cars and love being in the car community.

Proud moment was the day we opened the new shop and our grand opening with a ton of people in attendance.  I couldn’t believe the outpouring of love and support i Received from my friends and clients.  It was a truly great day!!
We try to set ourselves apart with our customer service and relationships we have with our clients. We treat our clients like family and not just a number. We will never sacrifice money over quality or safety of our service. We truly love what we do.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
They only thing I would have done differently is I wish I would have done this at a younger age. If that would have happened, there is no telling where we would be now.
