The Reclaimed Leather Co. was founded in 1990 by Derrick Spain as a small antique shop with a few hand-picked pieces for sale. Derrick has since then become a licensed auctioneer and an expert on anything vintage or antique. Now, more than 20 years later, we are still located in Houston, Texas and currently have two locations. He believes his success is due to not only a great eye but has access to the greatest supplier in the United States via The Port of Houston.

Like any other business it takes time, money, blood, sweat and tears. You going to pay to go to school one way or the other. The way I paid to go to school was with a lot of that buys along the way.

I specialize in vintage leather Chesterfield Sofas wing back chairs club chairs and basic Gentlemen’s club Decour from England. What sets me apart from others is my keen eye for design and function for today’s market. Have also learned to recondition the leather to a sample piece of furniture you would want your home.
