Diane, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve always had psychic experiences, but in my 20’s I was working in sales and marketing, and was surprised to find out that I had a reputation for “knowing” things. Strangers would walk up to me saying things like “I heard that you could tell me if my promotion will happen by June.” It was strange at first, but it led me in the right direction. I began to read books to try and understand how psychic ability works. By my 30’s, I was working full time as a psychic. I’ve never looked back.
Has it been a smooth road?
Working for yourself is always challenging, as you don’t have company benefits to fall back on. I’ve always tried to believe that “things will work out,” and so far, they have. I spent 10 wonderful years with Houston’s A.R.E Center, and I learned so much. When the center was forced to close I was sad, yet ready for my next adventure!

As a psychic medium, many readings are for people anxious to obtain information on a lost loved one. It is very fulfilling to help provide closure for someone, and I take this work seriously.
On a typical week, I do readings in my Westchase office, and phone readings at home. I also teach classes on psychic development and I love to watch students discover their gifts. Sometimes I work on missing person cases, and I also work with a paranormal investigative team who use scientific equipment to attempt to find evidential connections to my psychic findings. I am constantly learning from the wonderful people around me, and continue to learn every day. I’m lucky to have work that I find fascinating. I consider mediumship and medical intuition to be among my gifts, and I want to keep learning and growing as long as I live.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
For any self-employed person, I would tell them to concentrate on being the best at what they do. There are all kinds of psychics, and I can only strive for my personal best. Houston is surprisingly open to learning about the paranormal world, which is great. To anyone wanting to develop their abilities, it’s important to have the intent of helping people. If you keep your intentions positive, if you are honest, good things will happen.
