Meet Dionne Kepeden of Premium Law Growth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dionne Kepeden.

Hi Dionne, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always known I wanted to be a business owner ever since I was a kid watching Shark Tank. It was never a matter of if, but what kind of business I’d build. I like what I do because I get to blend with creativity with strategy.

Getting started was far from easy. Like most entrepreneurs, I struggled to find my first few clients, and when I finally did, I faced a new challenge — believing I was worth charging more. There were so many moments when I almost gave up: burnout, rejection, losing deals, or falling into the trap of comparing myself to other people’s highlight reels on social media. But the first time I landed a big project (four-figure deal), I realized this could actually be something real and sustainable.

Since then, my vision has evolved. I went from freelancing on Fiverr and Upwork to formally launching my own agency, and eventually, I found my niche helping lawyers build their personal brand online. Along the way, I’ve learned to be persistent, not to take things personally, and to always know my numbers.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not a smooth road but I don’t think it’s supposed to be. Entrepreneurship has tested just about every part of me. In the beginning, I struggled with imposter syndrome and confidence. I would question whether I was good enough, especially when I saw other people online growing faster or landing dream clients.

There were also practical challenges: inconsistent income, long nights, and learning how to manage every part of the business by myself — sales, client work, finances, marketing, everything. I’ve had deals fall through at the last minute, months where nothing seemed to move forward, and plenty of moments when I wondered if I should just get a regular job.

But those seasons taught me how to separate my self-worth from my results. I learned that persistence and consistency matter more than perfection. Every time I pushed through a setback, I became more confident in my ability to figure things out. That mindset shift changed everything.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Premium Law Growth?
We help lawyers build profitable personal brands so they can attract bigger, better cases and create more income with less stress.

Most marketing agencies focus on lead volume or firm-wide content. We do the opposite. We focus on the person behind the firm. Because in today’s world, people don’t connect with logos, they connect with other people. When lawyers learn to share their expertise, perspective, and personality online, they build trust, authority, and a loyal audience that buys from them and refers them over and over again.

Our process helps lawyers identify their ideal clients, define their unique voice, and build authority-driven content that attracts high-value cases. We’re not just trying to help lawyers “get more leads,” we’re helping them get better cases that increase profitability and give them the freedom to build a practice (and life) they actually enjoy.

What makes us different is our belief that personal branding beats generic, mass marketing (especially for smaller firms). We help lawyers become known, trusted, and respected in their niche, not by trying to appeal to everyone, but by building a loyal, engaged audience filled with the right people.

What’s next?
My long-term goal is to make my agency the go-to partner for lawyers who want to stand out as trusted, memorable leaders in their field. The industry is changing fast, and I want to be part of shaping what modern, authentic legal marketing looks like.

I’m excited to grow a small, highly skilled team that shares my passion for helping lawyers tell their stories and build businesses they’re proud of. I also plan to create more educational content — workshops, resources, and even a YouTube channel — to help more lawyers see that marketing doesn’t have to feel salesy or overwhelming.
