So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
In early 2002, we realized there was a huge lack of integrity and professionalism in our industry. Many buyers were never able to enter the market due to the lack of available financing or inventory (homes for sale). We also saw homes with unprofessional pictures, no advertising, and poor grammar by the listing agent. This resulted in fewer showings, longer days on the market and many homes being unsold. We knew there had to be a better and more professional way to handle the needs of folks looking to buy or sell a home. Diamond Homes Realty was born. We take a creative outside the box approach to find buyers the perfect home. Lack of inventory doesn’t hold us back. We also use cutting edge technology to get our sellers homes SOLD quickly and with the least amount of hassle. Using our unique strategies, we consistently sell our client homes for 5.4% more money than our competition and do so in less than half the time.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Since many of the tactics we use are the complete opposite of the industry standard we sometimes struggle with educating the buyer or seller on why we do what we do. Once in a blue moon, they will even use another agent/brokerage before giving us a try. Nearly every one of them come to us week or months later, apologetically asking us for help. This lends itself well to show exactly how we are different and why.
Diamond Homes Realty – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We are a boutique Real Estate Brokerage. We specialize in educating our clients whether they are building a home, buying an existing home, leasing or selling a home. We grab them by the hand and walk them through the entire process. We are most proud of the FIVE-star ratings we continually achieve on dozens of platforms across our industry. Every one of our agents is college educated and full time. Statistics show that 90% of the real estate business is done by 10% of the agents. A full-time commitment is needed and what our clients deserve.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
We are proud of our community recognition and involvement. Folks notice our properties, company vehicles, see us in parades and other fundraisers throughout the year.
