Today, we’d like to introduce you to DJ Savage undefined. DJ Savage was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented DJ Rosez.
Hi DJ Savage, we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.
well, my name is DJ Savage, I am originally from Memphis, Tn, however I developed my career in Houston, Tn. I’m a open format DJ, meaning I spin several different genres of music. I’ve had the pleasure of spinning in many different environments and my love of all music has definitely been a asset. I now live in NYC, however I’ve brought with me everything I learned in Houston, Tx.
Please talk to us about your creative work and career. What should we know?
Being a DJ has provided me with so many memories. I am very passionate about my career and I truly couldn’t have chosen anything more fun to do with my life. I have accomplished many of my goals and I am enjoying the process of seeing where this career is going to take me. Since I am an open format DJ I get to step into different cultures and add to their experience for the night and that makes me the happiest. My story is honestly a simple one, I noticed I had a passion for this and I just took the steps available to me to make this career happen. Of course there have been downs as well as ups, but it’s been a mostly happy/exciting career so far. I’ve developed a lot of friends in this industry and they have helped open many doors for me and I’m forever grateful. As far as my career/content, I’ve released a mixtape hosted by Slim Thug, I’ve been on tour with artist, I’ve dj’d for 97.9 The Box, I’ve been booked internationally and I’ve actually just embarked on another tour opportunity, I’ve developed party series both in collaboration with others as well as my own individual series, and my new city is NYC. Im excited about this next chapter of my career and extremely happy that my career never ceases to amazing me, I never know where I’m headed in life because this amazing career takes me everywhere.
DJ Rosez has been a great friend to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about DJ and your experience with them.
Although I have accomplished so many of my goals, I have much more to work on. My current goal is to help grow my latest event. Me and DJ Rosez, with the support of yeah Houston parties, are developing our party series “Perralicious” and I’m very excited about the direction its headed in. We have a lot of community support and I believe consistency can get us to a very successful place.
Perralicious is reggaeton and RnB party, and I love the concept. Perralicious fuses two cultures and creates something very different. The main focus is to just have a great time and dance your heart out. Anything that I’m ever apart of in this industry has to be centered around positive energy and dancing, and this party definitely has both elements.
Dj Rosez is a extremely talented DJ and she’s a giant in the reggaeton community in Houston, Tx, it was an honor to be invited by someone like her to join in on such a unique opportunity. check her out as well! @DJRosez
